The annual Met Gala, the Oscars of the fashion industry, is here. Unlike other fashion festivals, the Met Gala offers a specific theme each year, allowing guests to bring deeper thoughts and influences to the process of fashion interpretation.
The theme of this year's Met Gala was "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty", a tribute to the great designer.
Guests also took "In Honor of Karl" as the red carpet dress code to pay tribute to the legend of the fashion industry.
