The ranking of women's singles champions at the Badminton World Championships, with only one person achieving three championships, is not Chinese

The Badminton World Championships is the world's highest level badminton individual championship organized by the International Badminton Federation. The first competition was held in 1977.

First place, Spain, Marin, 3 crowns

Second place, multiple people tied, 2 crowns

China, Xie Xingfang

Third place, multiple people tied, 1 crown

In terms of the Chinese team: Zhang Ailing (1978), Tang Jiuhong (1991), Gong Ruina (2001), Zhang Ning (2003), Zhu Lin (2007), Lu Lan (2009), Wang Lin (2010), Wang Yihan (2011)

Regarding foreign players:

Denmark: Kopen (1977), Martin (1999)

Indonesia: Villawati, Wang Lianxiang (1993)

Thailand: Ratchano Indano (defeated Li Xuerui in the final) (2013)

Throughout the history of women's singles at the World Championships, only Marin achieved three championships, indicating that the competition in women's singles has always been fierce and few athletes can dominate this event for a long time.

The Chinese women's singles badminton team has failed to win the championship for six consecutive times. In today's women's badminton singles, there are around 10 world-class players with the ability to win championships. However, the Chinese women's badminton singles are in a low period, with only Chen Yufei in the super top group and possessing certain competitiveness.

The rise of Chinese women's singles requires more young players to practice. Only when the advantages of the group come out, will we not put all the pressure on one player, causing excessive pressure and inability to fully utilize our own strength.

I hope that Chinese women's singles will rise again soon and create brilliance between 2001 and 2011.
