Six original designer brand show, deduce the vitality of scientific and technological innovation


As one of the core parts of Xiamen International Fashion Week, TRENDY UP Fashion Show is not only the first scene to witness the fashion week moving toward the "integration of industry and city", but also the incubation pool for fashion brands and creative talents to break the cocoon.

This year's "TRENDY UP" will continue to innovate and change, aggregating Xiamen's original design strength, embracing smart technology and new technology, and uniting local cultural tourism landmark pioneers to recreate the concept of "the city is the show",

to carry out multiple deconstruction of the city's culture, art and natural scenes, and discover unique fashion symbols for the city. While showing Xiamen's fashion charm, it will promote the integrated development of cultural tourism and fashion, help expand and improve the quality of fashion consumption, and empower the economic development of urban cultural tourism and business district.

This "Wonderland Walk" theme release show event is the third year that "Xiamen International Fashion Week" and Luchao Gulangyu Fine Arts Academy, which has a history of more than 70 years,

will continue to create a new scene for cultural tourism consumption for this World Heritage island - Gulangyu International historical community, and will further give "Sea Garden Music Xiamen" more unique and cutting-edge fashion temperament.

The highlight of this fashion release is the innovative and in-depth integration of the designer show and the "Future-Oriented Viewing - Young Artist Invitation Exhibition" held at KCCA, a Contemporary Art Center in Gulangyu.

Through the smart presentation of "dynamic show + static exhibition", we will create 6 fashion shows full of science and technology and future sense for 6 original designer brands, break the definition of traditional shows in form and space, and bring a new immersion experience of five senses to the guests who watch the exhibition.

"Future-oriented Viewing - Young Artists Invitational Exhibition" uses different creative media and individual expression to explore two of the most concerned questions: "How do humans live with technology?" "How do humans get along with nature?"

Ten artists Di Jinjun, Zhang Kechun, Zhao Xin, Ding Yuchen, Bi Zhenyu, Zhu Keding, Jia Pengsen, Hou Shuai, Zhu Jianchen and Shen Linghao are invited to explore the philosophical propositions of media and viewing,

perception and life through the presentation and interactive experience of multiple media such as wet plate technology, digital image, computer-generated image, artificial intelligence, light sensing materials and interactive sensing devices.

In the six launch shows held at the same time as this exhibition, AI intelligence, digital twins, wearable devices, sustainable materials, bionic mimicism and other new technologies and new materials will be applied to the presentation of clothing and scene effects,

and the brands will describe the picture of the future lifestyle in the conceptual and technological display, which will infinite inspire the audience's imagination space for fashion consumption.

Energy jewelry accessory brand Jelly Muscle, for example, combines handmade retro accessories with conceptual modern 3D printing technology to connect the past and the future. Women's clothing brand Chen Yu CHNNYU and technology enterprises cross-border cooperation,

the design theme emphasizes the coexistence of technology and romance; Sports brand KINGLAND brought the display of graphene smart wear, superimposed state technology and other products...

The exhibition method of this show is also full of "deconstruction" interest, in the dynamic exhibition hall that is not frozen, through the "decentralized" monitoring display that is full of space, the state mapping of different areas of the whole field is continuously captured,

and the audience can watch the show of another area at any time through the display. The connection of different Spaces at any time and the audience's self-awareness constitute a "sense of presence",

which produces an immersive experience of time and space intersection like a multiverse in the magical photoelectric effect. In addition, HUAWEI Pura 70 series of new products were released for the first time in Fujian as the supporting equipment of this event,

exploring the co-creation of science and technology with fashion and art aesthetics together with Fashion Week, presenting fashion elements in a scientific and technological way, showing the pioneering attitude of urban people, highlighting and leading a more unique and modern aesthetic trend.

Jelly Muscle

Jelly Muscle, an energy jewelry accessory brand fascinated by the playful concept of "Adults' Playground", was founded in London in 2024 by Jojo and Linbing, a two-person design team who graduated from St.

Martin's School of Design and whose creations have been featured in well-known magazines at home and abroad. Jelly Muscle is a collection of their artistic language, and it is also their thinking and expression of life in the exploration of female creators.

Their creation emphasizes the integration of traditional crafts and new media, and carries out unlimited imagination in the artistic language full of childlike interest and sense of story.
