"L 'Obscur mascara is designed for the real person, who uses makeup to tell a story about freedom in their own way," says Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele.Although Goldstein was diagnosed with Down syndrome at birth, she never let the disease get in the way of her life.

After aspiring to become a model, she signed with Zebedee Management at the age of 15.The agency is committed to presenting "models with disabilities and alternative looks" - something Goldstein actively supports. Here, she shares her story.

Who were your beauty idols when you were growing up?

My beauty idol is Marilyn Monroe; My mom has books about Hollywood stars.

How would you describe your relationship with makeup?

Lovely. I really like makeup. I wear light makeup because I think it suits me better because my skin tone is a little pale. My earliest beauty memory is the makeup my sister put on me when I was two and she was 10.

How did you get into modeling?

I started when I was 15. My mom heard about Zebedee Management and we decided to join them.

The best thing about being a model is that you can show yourself to everyone. I like to show my professionalism in front of the camera.

Zebedee is dedicated to presenting models with disabilities and different looks. Why was that important to you?

Representation is very important to me, to show the world that every disabled person can be a model and an actress.

Can you tell me a little bit about your experience with Down syndrome?

I haven't had a bad experience with Down syndrome. I think it comes from my personality. The only challenge I face is that people might talk to my mom when they sign me up and not me.

Then they realized that I could communicate, just like them, maybe just a little slow in learning certain things.

How did you get over it?

Be yourself. Once people know that I can speak normally and have a good personality, they change their attitude towards me and smile at me. In this regard, people should be more positive than ignorant and should give us a chance.

What's it like being featured in Gucci's new AD campaign?

Being part of a Gucci Beauty campaign was a wonderful experience. I am so proud of myself, especially for being chosen to participate in this event. I was so happy with myself when I saw those pictures, and thrilled that people from all over the world were giving me likes and comments on social media.

Many people look up to you as a role model. Do you feel a responsibility to your fans?

I like being a role model. The lesson of my story is that you can achieve anything you want if you follow your hopes and dreams.

What advice do you have for people who aren't confident in themselves?

Be yourself and don't worry about what others think of you.

When do you feel your most beautiful?

I've always felt beautiful, especially when it comes to appearing in the media, getting modeling jobs and putting on beautiful makeup.

What else are you interested in besides modeling?

I like acting and dancing. I also like reading and learning new plays.

What are your hopes for the future?

My hope and dream is to show the world who I am and what I can do.
