After preliminary research, formulation of norms, public solicitation, district recommendation, expert identification and other links, a total of 100 cultural tourism experience bases have been launched under six themes: traditional cultural experience,

Beijing cultural experience, multicultural space experience, red cultural experience, science and technology popularization experience, and local farming culture experience.
In this period of exploration, we walked into the auspicious eight treasures fire painting gourd skill experience base and Beijing Yishengyuan Korean food and folk culture experience base.

PART.1 Traditional culture experience base

Auspicious eight treasures fire drawing gourd skill experience base

Beijing Gourd Art Manor covers an area of 138 mu, and was built and operated by Beijing Jixiang Eight Treasures Gourd handicrafts production and marketing professional cooperative with an investment of 12 million yuan in 2016.

The cooperative was established in May 2009, and was recommended as a municipal intangible cultural heritage "fire drawing gourd" technology protection unit in Beijing in November 2020.

In June 2021, it was evaluated and announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs as a national farmer professional cooperative model society. Beijing Gourd Art Manor is a characteristic industrial park for the development of leisure agriculture and cultural tourism,

and has realized the integrated development of the first, second and third industries. The park is mainly characterized by intangible cultural experience, industry-university-research, red culture visit and patriotic education.

Experience process

01.After visitors come to Beijing Gourd Art Manor, the docents will explain the general situation of Beijing Gourd Art Manor, the story of Niu Achievement Teacher's non-genetic integration and innovation development being rated as Beijing model workers, the functional zoning of the park and the distribution of the exhibition hall. (20 minutes)

02.Under the guidance of the docent, visit the South Expo Hall of Gourd Garden, the North Demonstration Park of gourd planting, the gourd Landscape Avenue and the Gourd Craft Expo Hall respectively. (60 minutes)

03.In the process of visiting, along with the tour route, experience the multimedia touch interactive equipment in different exhibition halls, and learn more about the works not displayed by the teachers and their successors in an all-round way. (20 minutes)

04.After the explanation, watch the non-heritage fire painting gourd documentary and Beijing Gourd Art Manor documentary, Niu Achievement teacher's Beijing model worker story propaganda film in the gourd craft teaching hall. (20 minutes)

05.The audience can selectively participate in various audition and hands-on experience courses held by the Gourd Garden. (60-80 minutes)

Beijing Yishengyuan Korean food and folk culture experience base

The experience activities of Beijing Yishengyuan Korean Food and folk culture experience base are divided into indoor activities and outdoor activities. Indoor activities include kimchi processing factory visit,

DIY production of traditional Chinese food, kimchi nutrition revealing course, food safety education course, traditional culture inheritance experience, environmental protection course,

creative handicraft design and science knowledge photo exhibition; Outdoor activities include places to explore the mysteries of nature, afforestation sites and other new types of projects combined with cultural tourism.

Experience process

01.After visitors come to the park, the park guide will explain the company overview, the history of experience base and the project theme. (10 minutes)

02.Under the guidance of the docents, come to the industrial products visit corridor, visit the factory environment and understand the basic production process of the product. (15 minutes)

03.Visit the exhibition hall under the guidance of the interpreter to understand the characteristics of the experience base. (15 minutes)

04.Enter the DIY experience classroom, the instructor leads the visitors to make Korean food by hand. (40 minutes)
