Construction of the world's first supercomputer Internet system has begun

The core of the issue should therefore not be the question of who replaces whom, but who is better suited to which situation. In addition, it is necessary to regulate some words, because this will be beneficial in theory and practice. The future of biotechnology

The 11th Annual Meeting of the New Champions kicked off in Dalian on the morning of June 27. In the Davos related "leadership meeting, policy innovation, people-oriented..." Among the countless serious words, a humble "exhibition" lets us see the future of biotechnology.

At the entrance to the exhibition, titled "The Biological Laboratory of the Fourth Industrial Revolution," there is a shuffleboard table, a game in which two people hit shuffleboard to compete for speed,

which is used against man and machine. According to scientific statistics, it takes 10 milliseconds for the human brain to send instructions to the arm muscles, but in this device called "Huawei Air Suspension Ball",

the reaction time of two robots (robot arms and cameras) connected by 5G network is only 1 millisecond when hitting the air suspension ball - this speed is ten times that of humans.

In fact, this "fungal brick wall" is made of living fungal bricks that, with a little nurturing, can grow into the shape of walls, arches, columns and other building components. It not only has plastic-like plasticity, it can also be processed into a solid and durable rigid foam, and most importantly, it can be benign and broken down. Back to nature.

How can you tell if you have cancer in just one breakfast? James King and seven other undergraduates from the University of Cambridge genetically engineered E. coli bacteria in 2009 to produce a variety of visible pigments.

In popular terms, you only need to drink a pot of yogurt, you can know whether you have the corresponding disease through the subsequent excretion of colorful stool.

Artist Christien Meindersma spent three years tracking down a pig, number 05049, and all the products it produced. He found that the products made from the parts of a slaughtered pig were quite astonishing: ammunition, photo paper, heart valves, brake pads, cheesecake and chewing gum. Finally, the author used a picture book to show all the products at a realistic scale of 1:1.

"Most of the projects on display are still in the experimental and conceptual stage, and I can't tell you when they will be realized, but multi-field collaboration and cross-field integration is one of the trends in the technology world right now."

Noeleen Hartigan, sustainability Manager at the International Gallery of Science (SGI).The construction of the world's first supercomputer Internet system started, serving the global Marine system simulator

Marine National Laboratory, National Supercomputing Center Wuxi and National Supercomputing Center Jinan signed a strategic agreement to jointly build a supercomputer large science device group at Qingdao National Laboratory of Marine Science and Technology to build an international supercomputer large science network infrastructure.

At the same time, the Marine National Laboratory will also work with China Telecom and China Education Network to build a supercomputer Internet system with strong interaction, wide coverage, rapid feedback and rich consultation.

In addition, the Marine National Laboratory and Peking University, Tsinghua University, Shandong University, the National Supercomputing Center of Jinan and Inspur Group and other five units jointly signed the "Intelligent supercomputing and big data Joint Laboratory" cooperation agreement, to build a joint laboratory of intelligent supercomputing and big data.

Construction of the world's first supercomputer Internet system has begun

Marine National Laboratory signed a strategic agreement with the National Supercomputing Wuxi Center and the National Supercomputing Jinan Center to jointly build a supercomputer large science device group,

build an international supercomputer large science network infrastructure, effectively integrate the service capabilities of various high-performance computing centers, and jointly serve international ultra-large scale collaborative computing tasks. Based on the established P-level supercomputer,

the basic application support system for E-level supercomputer is constructed to provide highly elastic and highly available computing resources for Marine scientific research.

At the same time, the Marine National Laboratory will work with China Telecom (100G dedicated optical fiber network) and China Education Network (100G private network) to build a supercomputer Internet system with strong interaction,

wide coverage, rapid feedback and rich consultation, and create a "super brain" in the international Marine field. To achieve the construction of super-large equipment clusters, supercomputing Internet coverage and resource collaborative sharing,

relying on the existing foundation to give full play to the platform support role of large scientific device clusters such as E-class supercomputing, further strengthen the construction of supercomputing ecology, and strive to create a supercomputing and artificial intelligence ecosystem.

Wei Zhiqiang, executive deputy director of the Intelligent Supercomputer and Big Data Joint Laboratory, said: "We have unified the three large scientific devices of the National supercomputer Jinan Center,

the Wuxi Center and the National Marine Laboratory supercomputer Center to become a set of supercomputer large scientific device group. The purpose of building the cluster is to serve the construction of the global ocean system simulator.
