The collection of handwritten textbook "Hejun Middle School Gymnastics", spark ticket "Girl Gymnastics", 1916 Jinhua Wenxing private Mengquan National School sports free exercise textbook, 1925 Jiangnan Middle School track and field joint sports meeting brochure, record the development of modern Chinese physical education from scratch.

The modern hall of the second exhibition hall, relying on the archives of Shanghai Sport University, tells the development course of physical education in New China. From the first teaching plan,

the first batch of student cards and the first MEDALS since the school was founded in 1952, to the trophy wall and the writing column today, hundreds of precious collections of the school are presented one by one, depicting the trajectory of physical education in China.

"The exhibits here tell the story of the changes in China's physical education, and also witness the unremitting efforts to build a sports power." Shanghai Sport University physical education museum director Kuang Shuping said.

In the 1970s, the State Sports Commission established a volleyball training base in Zhangzhou. Bamboo frame, cinder floor, this is built in 1972, bamboo pavilion. "At that time, the Chinese women's volleyball team practiced fast attack tactics in the bamboo pavilion."
