"Hardcore" crash test, the first electrical safety technology system... China Automobile Center released the latest news of new energy vehicles

At the same time that the number of new energy vehicles in China is increasing, new requirements are also put forward for the structural safety and electrical safety of new energy vehicles. Among them, the collision between trucks and new energy vehicles has been the focus of attention in the industry.

A few days ago, the China Automotive Technology Research Center launched a number of extreme collision tests of trucks and new energy vehicles.

China Automobile Center launched a number of truck and new energy vehicle crash tests

In the test of the concrete mixer truck roof, the test vehicle encountered the concrete mixer truck roof which was out of control due to the excessive speed at the intersection. The results showed that the test vehicle withstood the rollouts of the 30-ton mixer, and the roof did not sag or break.

In the side-impact superposition rear-end collision test of a truck at an intersection, an 8.6-ton large truck crashed into a normal driving test vehicle at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour, suffered a side impact, and then suffered a rear-end collision of a large truck behind.

This kind of superimposed crash test is mainly to assess the safety of the side and tail of the vehicle, and puts forward strict requirements for the overall structure and electrical safety of the new energy vehicle.

In the collision test of the large truck rear-end passenger car due to the occlusion of the line of sight, the test vehicle suddenly encountered the two-wheeler that ran the red light, the test vehicle triggered the automatic emergency braking system to stop, and the truck in the same lane behind the car had no time to react, and rear-end the test vehicle.

Experts pointed out that this test is a comprehensive test of the active and passive safety of new energy models.

Meng Xianming, chief expert of China Automotive Technology Research Center: These extreme safety tests put forward higher requirements for the safety performance of new energy vehicles in extreme harsh conditions.

In the future, we will continue to launch more automobile safety ultimate tests, and actively promote Chinese automobile brands to constantly innovate safety technology and improve safety quality.

China has released its first electric safety technology system for new energy vehicles

In addition, the China Automotive Technology Research Center also released the first domestic electric safety technology system for new energy vehicles.

This system includes six dimensions, such as charging safety, electromagnetic safety, functional safety, high voltage safety, battery safety, and fire safety, and the technical data source of the system is the typical actual use scenario of new energy vehicle consumers.

Experts say, for example, consumers in the daily use of new energy vehicles in the process, there may be a lot of concerns, such as summer high temperature and high humidity environment, high-power charging vehicles will appear spontaneous combustion; Rainy day charging will not occur personnel electric shock; Will the vehicle accidentally lose power at high voltage during driving;

Electric vehicle electromagnetic radiation will not cause harm to health and so on. All of these are, in the final analysis, the "electric safety" of new energy vehicles. If the "electric safety" technology is not passed, it may cause a series of safety risks such as electric shock, vehicle loss of control, and even fire and explosion.

Gao Jidong, general manager of New Energy Inspection Center of China Automotive Technology Research Center: In the future, we will continue to increase the electric safety risk event scene library of new energy vehicles during the use of new energy vehicles, continue to iterate relevant technical verification methods and schemes, and help improve the electric safety performance quality of new energy vehicles.
