According to reports, the National New energy Vehicle Key Technology Skills Competition is a national class of vocational skills competition held for the key technology field of new energy vehicles in China.

There are five categories in the competition, which are: vehicle assembly and adjustment (new energy vehicle lightweight technology direction), automotive electrical assembly and adjustment (intelligent transport technology direction), motor vehicle detection (vehicle road coordination technology direction), automotive electrical maintenance (new energy vehicle electronic control system technology direction), intelligent vehicle maintenance (power system energy saving and emission reduction control direction).

Each event is divided into two groups: staff group and student group, both of which are two-person team competitions. 922 contestants from 461 teams from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and Xinjiang Corps will participate in the event. There are 398 staff members and 524 students.

Tian Feng introduced that compared with previous sessions, this national new energy vehicle key technical skills competition can be summarized in five words: excellent, new, increase, regulation, and more.

First, optimize the setting of competition items and develop the service industry. This competition focuses on the development status of the new energy automobile industry, expands the content of the competition in the field of talents in short supply in the new energy automobile industry, adds two competition items in the direction of intelligent transport technology and power system energy saving and emission reduction control, highlights low-carbon environmental protection, and deepenes the technical connotation.

The second is to innovate the location of the competition, close to the actual production. This is the first time that the competition will be held in a production company. Third, the number of players has increased significantly, and the sources are more extensive.

The attention and participation of the competition exceeded the previous two sessions, and the size of the finalists was about twice that of the previous two sessions. The fourth is to strengthen the standardization of the competition, improve the level of competition. Finally, a number of supporting activities are planned to promote talent training.
