After three days of competition, the 2023 Nanning LYB Li Yongbo Global Amateur Badminton Championship came to an end on December 10 at the gymnasium of Guangxi Sports Center. In the competition, 1,198 players swung the racket and decided the champions of each event in 10 age groups; Outside the competition, the players tasted food and toured the beautiful scenery, enhanced friendship in exchanges, and learned about Nanning in interactions, creating a strong sports culture atmosphere.

The age of participants in this competition covers 8 to 65 years old, with 10 age groups, including men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles 5 events. In three days, badminton players from all over the country fought for victory and honor, shouted for the love of the heart, and demonstrated the charm of badminton incisively and vividly with superb skills.

Outside the competition, the organizers carefully planned and held a grand event carnival, displaying and selling a series of special products and food, so that the contestants and their relatives and friends can taste the flavor of Nanning and feel the characteristics of Nanning culture. The carnival also set up a number of badminton related games, such as four-step speed measurement, hitting the hole, dynamic cotton candy, DIY badminton, etc., so that more people can leave the memory of Nanning, feel the fun and charm brought by badminton, and further promote the development of badminton in Nanning and the in-depth implementation of national fitness.

During the competition, Li Yongbo, former head coach of China Badminton Team and founder of LYB brand, kicked off the competition with badminton Olympic champions Du Jing and Zhang Nan, and badminton world champions Xu Chen, Tang Jinhua, Li Yinhui and Du Yue. They had fun with amateur badminton fans, and walked into Nanning campus to carry out the public benefit visit activity of "Feather We Share Glory, Feather We are Different" to enrich the connotation of the competition. Further promote the integration of sports and education in Nanning.

The successful holding of the 2019 Sudirman Cup World Badminton Mixed Team Championship highlights the unique badminton culture of Nanning.
