Do you want to know how designers will celebrate Christmas

Designer Stefano Gabbana loves Christmas so much that every year on December 24, he and his business partner of 32 years, Domenico Dolce, hold a vigil until midnight to celebrate the holiday.

They invite their families to lunch on the 25th or 26th, "the children of the family, uncles, nephews, brothers and sisters, all of our family will come on that day."

The Christmas tree is also essential, and they will hang all kinds of decorations on it (maybe two designers specially designed decorations for their own Christmas tree).

Gabbana also says that everyone who comes to lunch has to bring a dish, and that during Christmas in Italy, there will always be ravioli with meat on the table, although Gabbana says she often "cheats" and buys takeout to top up.

Gabbana admits that "I'm not a good cook, but Domenico is a very good cook."

While only a handful of families will have the pleasure of dining with Dolce and Gabbana, this Christmas, at least in London, consumers will have the chance to experience what it's like to spend the holidays with the masters of fashion and design.

From November 2 to December 28, Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce will launch an authentic Italian Christmas market at Harrods, a luxury department store in London. The special market entrance will feature a Christmas tree decorated with gold ribbons and colorful lights.

The Windows of the market will be designed in the style of a Sicilian puppet theater, and Dolce and Gabbana will dress up as puppets to introduce visitors to the story of this Christmas house.

Set up on the fifth floor of Harrods, visitors will enter a replica of Piazza Italiana, decorated with coloured lights and lined with stalls displaying a wide range of goods.

Many of these were designed exclusively for Harrods, including evening dresses in floral patterns and sequin embroidery, high-class striped suits in silky fabrics, and cute children's dresses in elaborate designs.

Shoppers looking for gifts will find a wide range of toys, perfumes, fine jewelry, shoes, handbags and other accessories.

Dolce and Gabbana also arranged for a drawing expert to be on hand to provide personalized service to customers buying Sicily handbags.

This is not the first time Harrods has invited a brand to create a Christmas shopping area in its store. Last year, Burberry designed a "truly British fairy tale" window in Harrods, along with exclusive merchandise.

Talking about the Christmas mall in Harrods.

Gabbana said: "Every single item in the market, every single item, we personally touch.

For me, Christmas is all about a Christmas tree, friends, spending time with your loved ones and all the warmest things, and now we're bringing it all to Harrods."
