The Chinese Academy of Sciences' 2024 New Year's Eve Science Lecture was successfully held recently, and combined with the media's New Year's Eve financing media live broadcast, forming a super New Year's Eve live broadcast of more than 30 hours.

In this New Year's Science Speech event in 2024, experts and scholars, science popularization experts and scientific experiment demonstration teams brought a lot of hardcore and interesting content that is not only related to national development but also close to life.

Science popularization master "Infinitesimal Liang" Zhang Chenliang visited the Marine Biology Herbarium of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, leading the audience to get close to the rich and diverse Marine specimens.

In the scientific experiment section, five award-winning teams of national Scientific experiment Exhibition activities, from small objects in daily life to high-tech applications, demonstrated a series of scientific experiments that are both educational and interesting.

After the New Year's science lecture, chapters such as "vast stars", "magnificent dawn", "Striving glory", "Energetic time" and "Glory time" continued to be brilliantly interpreted.

It is understood that the New Year's Science Lecture is a science popularization brand activity formed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in the process of implementing the "popularization of high-end scientific research resources" and "Science and China" science education "program, and was held for the first time in 2019 in the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Since its inception, the Chinese Academy of Sciences New Year's Eve Science Lecture has been continuously enriched and innovated in content and form. From the original 3-hour New Year's Eve lecture, it has developed into a public "science feast" that integrates lectures, visits, scientific experiments and slow live broadcasting, and is jointly delivered by academicians and experts in various fields and science popularization experts.
