Recently, Gaofu Power, a high-end maglev equipment R&D company, completed a new round of strategic financing, led by Zhejiang Venture Capital.

It is understood that this round of financing is mainly used for new product research and development, market development, and expanding production capacity.

Beijing Gaofu Power Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2019, led by the first prize winner of the National Technology Invention Award. It is a national high-tech enterprise that converts aerospace technology to civilian use, with suspension bearing technology as the core, and develops, produces, and sells magnetic levitation high-end equipment such as high-speed motors, magnetic levitation blowers, compressors, and energy storage flying wheels.

Gaofu Power Magnetic Suspension Bearing Technology originated from aerospace, and its products have the characteristics of high reliability, low power consumption, large bearing capacity, and high control accuracy. Gaofu Power fully grasps the core technology of magnetic levitation bearings and high-speed motors, and has complete independent intellectual property rights. It has launched a series of 50kW~500kW magnetic levitation blowers, air compressors, vacuum pumps and other products. Currently, more than 500 blowers and air compressors are widely used in sewage treatment, material gas transportation, leather and paper making, textile printing and dyeing, dairy product processing, desulfurization and denitrification, glass wool combustion support, biopharmaceuticals, etc In the industrial sector such as textile machinery, energy efficiency has increased by more than 30%, continuously creating value for customers.

Under the dual carbon target, by 2022, China's installed capacity of wind and thermal power will reach 760 million kW, close to 30% of the total installed capacity. By 2030, the installed capacity of wind and thermal power will reach 1.2 billion kW, exceeding 40% of the total installed capacity. The power system is facing challenges, and the frequency regulation pressure on the power grid is rapidly increasing. The new power system frequency regulation market is about to experience explosive growth. New types of energy storage, including energy storage flywheels, have become a necessary option for achieving the global dual carbon goal. As of the end of 2022, the cumulative installed capacity has reached 45.7GW, with an annual growth rate of 80%.

Energy storage flywheel, as a physical energy storage solution that can achieve millisecond level response, has outstanding advantages in safety, lifespan, cost, and other aspects. The flywheel rotor has a large weight and frequent acceleration and deceleration during operation.
