On May 25, the 2024 Zhongguancun "Education + Technology" Innovation Week with the theme of "Digital intelligence enables better Education" opened in Beijing. The event was guided by China National Institute of Education Sciences,

China Education Society, China Education Development Strategy Society and China Education Technology Association, hosted by Beijing Haidian District People's Government, and hosted by Zhongguancun Internet Education Innovation Center.

Zhao Weipeng, general manager of Zhongguancun Internet Education Innovation Center, said that Zhongguancun "Education + technology" innovation Week has been held for 10 consecutive years,

focusing on the integration of elements in the field of education and science and technology, based on the needs of the era of integrated development of education, science and technology, talent, continuous service industry development, enabling education innovation.

Yu Fayou, vice president of the China National Institute of Education Sciences, said that for the application practice of digital education, it is necessary to coordinate the top-level design of regional and school digital education development, vigorously improve the digital literacy and operational skills of teachers, and continue to improve the effectiveness of digital technology teaching assistants.

Han Min, executive vice president of China Education Development Strategy Society, pointed out that the rapid development of artificial intelligence and other technologies has provided unlimited possibilities for educational innovation and development,

and also put forward many new challenges to education reform. Education can not only stay in the imparting of knowledge and skills, but should pay more attention to students' scientific literacy, thinking ability, innovation ability and moral cultivation.

In his keynote speech, Lin Jianhua, former president of Peking University and director of the Future Education Management Research Center of Peking University, pointed out that based on the era of artificial intelligence,

we should open the boundaries of disciplines, learning and schools, make full use of the educational resources of society, so that students can enhance the knowledge and ability of learning tacit meeting in the actual experience, and achieve the fundamental purpose of education.

Huang Ronghuai, director of the Intelligent Learning Research Institute of Beijing Normal University and director of the National Engineering Research Center for Intelligent Technology and Application of Internet Education,

said that the emergence of generative artificial intelligence may subvert the old education system as a whole, leading to potential risks such as education inequality and lack of application.

Towards the era of intelligence, education will form the concept of knowledge shared by all creators, the concept of learning constructed by intelligent connection, the concept of integrated and open curriculum, and the concept of human-machine collaboration.

Liu Yidong, a researcher at the Institute of Natural Science History of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and vice chairman of the Chinese Society for Future Studies, believes that the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents needs to establish a learning-centered education system,

so that learners can use technological means to learn from first-class teachers and scholars, realize the transformation from academic education to ability education, and open a new model of talent training and evaluation in the era of artificial intelligence.

Jiang Zhaohui, director of the Institute of Educational Theory of the Chinese National Institute of Education Sciences, said that to empower new quality productivity with education, it is necessary to protect students' imagination,

curiosity and desire for knowledge, strengthen the construction of teachers, improve the level of school construction with innovation in concept, technology and scene, and cultivate "new quality talents" in line with new quality productivity.

Xiong Yongchang, secretary of the Party Committee and principal of Beijing 101 Middle School, said that education is rapidly moving towards the era of numerical intelligence, and the training concept of top innovative talents is being deeply affected.

From the school level, it should take the initiative to adapt to the trend of scientific and technological innovation, focus on cultivating top-notch innovative talents in artificial intelligence,
