May 30 this year is the eighth "National Science and Technology Workers Day", in the "National Science and Technology Workers Day" held on the same day, the Chinese Scientist Museum will be officially opened to the public.

Approved by The State Council, since 2010, the China Association for Science and Technology, together with 11 departments, has jointly organized and implemented the "Collection Project for the academic Growth of old Scientists".

Over the past ten years, the project has carried out the collection of academic growth data of 674 scientists, collecting precious historical materials such as letters, manuscripts, scientific instruments,

works, audio and video, related cultural relics and documents of Chinese scientists in the process of academic growth, and has become the largest, richest and most extensive collection project library of scientists' precious historical data in China.

On the occasion of this year's "National Science and Technology Workers' Day", the Chinese Scientist Museum at the National Science and Technology Communication Center will officially open to the public and hold its first series of exhibitions. The first exhibition includes 1 main exhibition and 5 special exhibitions, with a total exhibition area of 5,000 square meters.

Among them, the main exhibition is divided into two major sections: "The backbone of the Republic - the Collection of Chinese Scientists Museum Highlights Exhibition" and "Long Collection of Old Scientists' Academic Growth Data Collection Project Special Exhibition",

based on the first batch of research results of "Old Scientists' Academic Growth data Collection Project". A total of more than 400 objects (sets) of more than 190 scientists, more than 400 precious pictures, as well as more than 10 large-scale exhibits provided by relevant scientific research institutions.

Starting from the afternoon of May 30, the public can make free reservations through the wechat official accounts of the National Center for Science and Technology Communication or the Museum of Chinese Scientists.

At the same time, 287 scientists' spiritual education bases across the country will jointly hold the "National punch card museum" activity. "Scientist Map" will also be released during the event,

in the form of an online map, comprehensive use of VR display, AI generation, sapiens interaction and other modern technological means, gathering and presenting the national scientist spirit exhibition resources.

This year's "National Science and Technology Workers Day" activities are jointly organized by the China Association for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology,
