2 hours, 07 minutes, and 09 seconds! Yunnan athlete Yang Shaohui broke the Chinese marathon record

At 12:10 local time, the 2023 Fukuoka International Marathon will start.

The Fukuoka International Marathon is the highest entry barrier race in the world, with a total of 487 participants participating this year, including Chinese athletes Yang Shaohui and Feng Peiyou! Today, the first group of the competition ran at a pace of 2 minutes and 59 seconds. Currently, they have reached 2 hours, 05 minutes, and 50 seconds. If successful, Japanese athlete Kohei Hosiya can squeeze out Daiichi and secure his third Olympic qualification.

After the race started, as planned, Yang Shaohui passed the 5-kilometer time mark in 14 minutes and 53 seconds. He performed more actively, ranking first behind the four rabbits, and Feng Peiyou closely followed the first group.

The 10 kilometer race takes 29 minutes and 49 seconds, which is basically consistent with the original plan. The estimated completion time is 2 hours, 05 minutes, and 48 seconds.

15 kilometers took 44 minutes and 37 seconds, with a slight acceleration in the third 5 kilometers. Yang Shaohui and Feng Peiyou are still following suit.

The first group takes 1 hour, 02 minutes, and 59 seconds for the first half, while Yang Shaohui and Feng Peiyou both take 63 minutes. This speed is even faster than Yang Shaohui's half horse PB, while Feng Peiyou's half horse PB is 01:02:47. Recently, it was created in Huangguoshu's half horse PB.

At a speed of 25 kilometers, still moving at a 3-speed distribution, Yang Shaohui and Feng Peiyou continued to follow.

30 kilometers took 1 hour, 29 minutes, and 42 seconds. The rabbit withdrew from the race, and the first group of 6 people engaged in the final battle!

33 kilometers, leading player accelerates, Feng Peiyou gradually falls behind.

35 kilometers takes 1 hour, 45 minutes, and 01 seconds. There are still 4 people left in the first group, including Yang Shaohui, and the expected completion time is still within 207. Fengpaiyou experienced a deceleration at 33 kilometers, falling behind by 11 seconds and ranking 7th.

In the last 5 kilometers, Yang Shaohui closely followed Xigu Gongping.

At 40 kilometers, Yang Shaohui broke the national record in just 2 hours and 32 seconds.

In the end, Yang Shaohui finished the race in 2 hours, 07 minutes, and 09 seconds and won the runner up! Surpassing He Jie's 2 hours, 07 minutes, and 30 seconds in the Wuxi Marathon this year, setting a new Chinese marathon record!
