The video conference presentation was leaked, and Nvidia was sued by Valeo, a partner in the smart car business

Tech giant Nvidia is facing a lawsuit over a video conference. During an online presentation during a video conference last year, Mohammed Moniruzzaman, an Nvidia executive, "accidentally" showed a classified document that proved he had stolen Valeo's technology secrets, according to Valeo, Nvidia's partner in the smart car business.

Valeo's complaint alleges that the employee leaked documents including the source code of Valeo's smart parking and driver-assistance software, and that his theft was "so brazen."

It is worth mentioning that this employee was an employee of Valeo before joining Nvidia. The file path displayed on his computer screen is still said to be "ValeoDocs." Some screenshots of IT House are attached, details are as follows:

Valeo said the employee had stolen thousands of megabytes of data while working at Valeo's German operations in 2021. Later that year, he joined Nvidia.

The employee minimizes the window after presenting his powerpoint presentation. But there was something wrong with his shared screen interface: participants in the video conference immediately recognized the source code and took a screenshot of it before the employee noticed the error.

The employee was convicted by Germany in September of illegally possessing the data, according to court documents. When questioned by German police, he confessed to his actions and admitted that he had used the documents while employed by Nvidia.

Valeo has accused Nvidia of financially benefiting from the stolen trade secrets and is seeking substantial damages and an injunction from the court. The lawsuit has been filed in a California court.
