With the temporary ceasefire of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the development of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has slowly entered everyone's vision again. That is, the West, tired of aid to Ukraine, has repeatedly signaled that it wants Zelensky to initiate peace talks with Russia, and Russia has wasted no time in launching an onslaught on Ukrainian forces, hoping to gain more leverage for future negotiations. However, it is such a vigorous war, the outside world has not yet been able to obtain the accurate number of casualties of the Ukrainian army, and it has been speculated. And not long ago, a rolling report by a Ukrainian TV station caused a huge sensation, perhaps this answer has been found.

1+1, a Ukrainian television station, broadcast a marathon with a rolling captioning news report that 1,126,652 members of the Ukrainian armed forces had been killed or missing since the conflict began, Rossiya Gazeta reported. Immediately, the Ukrainian president's office directly placed a call to the television station. The network's leaders apologized for what they said was a typo.

So was the figure an error, or did Ukrainian TV accidentally slip up?

Personally, I think the chances are high.

On the one hand, there are many indications that Ukraine is already severely undermanned. The news and videos of the Ukrainian army arresting people in the street are everywhere. So many Ukrainians, the old, the weak, the sick, the disabled and the pregnant, carried guns to the front. That means that Ukraine's youth has been almost exhausted.

On the other hand, the data is far too accurate to be accurate. Many people have defended the TV station's report, saying that it may be missing a decimal point. So the fact that the number is accurate in the single digits is unusual in itself.

On the other hand, Ukraine is now in a state of intense internal strife. The reason given is that so far, Zaluzzin has not given the operation plan of the Ukrainian army next year, the military only requires the mobilization of at least 20,000 citizens every month. This news itself is not very remarkable, but compared with the almost daily reports from the Russian side, about 700 Ukrainian troops will be wiped out every day, it is very scary. Because these two numbers, they fit together perfectly. In other words, Ukrainian soldiers may indeed be dying, surrendering or fleeing in large numbers.
