Held every May, the Met Gala is the biggest event in the fashion industry, so the red carpet portion of the annual charity gala is also known as the "Oscars of fashion."
When it comes to the Met Gala, each theme is carefully chosen, with a story to tell and a history to explore.
This year's theme, "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," which translates to "Sleeping Beauties: Fashion Awakening" in Chinese, aims to unearth the treasures of our clothing collections - pieces so fragile they can no longer be worn that they become "sleeping beauties" in the academy's archives.
The theme of this year's dress, "The Garden of Time", is also a metaphor for the short story of the same name written by J.G. Ballard in 1962, to convey the cherish and nostalgia for the beauty of the past.
Take a look at the red carpet, where guests have been taking the theme "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" very seriously this year:
Anna Wintour did not wear Chanel, as she has in the past.
To get closer to the theme of this year's Dress Code, she chose Loewe's special custom, inspired by the evening cape designed by 19th century fashion giant Charles James in 1944.
Her multiple appearances on the red carpet at the Met Gala didn't limit Zendaya's creative approach to fashion, but as co-chair of the evening, she delivered a new surprise.
For her first dress, Zendaya chose Maison Margiela, designed by her friend John Galliano, which was enough to impress the red carpet, and she scored highly under the theme "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion".
The dress was inspired by John Galliano's 1999 spring/summer haute Couture collection when he was the creative director of Dior.
The headwear customized by Philip Tracy and the strong makeup style customized by Pat McGrath complemented the style.
The second dress was a Vintage Givenchy Spring/Summer 1996 couture dress by John Gallinao, creative director of Givenchy at the time, and was paired with a classic Alexander McQueen bouquet top hat.
Co-chair Jennifer Lopez, who is attending her 14th Met Gala, chose Schiaparelli's butterfly dress, which she paired with Tiffany's fine jewelry collection.
As the official co-chair of the gala, Bad Bunny appeared on the red carpet in the Maison Margiela Artisanal Couture collection, with eye-catching headgear and floral details on her hands.
Chris Hemswort, who showed up in a classic Tom Ford three-piece suit, also appeared as the official co-chair of the gala.
Lana Del Rey's dress was one of the best.
It's from Alexander McQueen, and it's new creative director Sean McGirr's tribute to archive.
He let the thorns climb on the skirt, with the gauze on his head, the red roses wrapped around his wrist, so that Lana Del Rey at this moment is like a poet walking through the "garden of time".
Tyla's red carpet look was also one of the best, like a beautiful hourglass of time, which she told us was inspired by the "sands of time."
Her dress shape from Balmain, like sand attached to her body, the hand of the hourglass from another Angle to present the time - those gradually passing like quicksand time, very aesthetic conception.
The annual Met Gala is full of gorgeous hemlines. This year's best big dress is Cardi B.
