The most memorable fashion show moment

In 2017, from New York to Paris, Copenhagen to Seoul. Here are some of our most memorable moments.

Azzedine Alaia's surprise fashion show during Paris Haute Couture Week in July turned out to be his last show before his death in November. On the catwalk, Campell strode to cheers and applause, wearing a bell-shaped black and white coat with open-front ankle boots and hair pulled back in a plastic tiara.

In honor of Gianni Versace, who was tragically killed in Miami Beach 20 years ago, Donatella invited these five "original" supermodels to close the Versace Spring/Summer 2018 fashion show.

The curtain pulls back and Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy and Helena Christensen stand like goddesses on a white square in a chain mail gown. They were due to walk around for two weeks to George Michael's hit song "Freedom! '90s", and for the second time, Donatella joined them.

For his Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2018 show, designer Anthony Vaccarello sent models to a huge open-air runway in front of Paris' Chateau de Cheueux, where they were wrapped in leather, sequins and ostrich feathers in sexy and decadent fashions.

With the Eiffel Tower glittering in the background, the image was haunting for fashion editors and viewers including Courtney Love and Lenny Kravitz ChloeSevigny. Just weeks before the launch, the death of Pierre Berge, a partner of founding designer Yves Saint Laurent, made the scene even more poignant.

Her eyebrows speak. Four days after her 16th birthday and 26 years after her mother Cindy Crawford made her Donna Karan debut, Kaia Gerber made her Calvin Klein debut with a look inspired by vintage bistro: Silk western shirt with polo neck sweater and mustard yellow satin trousers.

The high-profile show was also designer Raf Simons' second for Calvin Klein, and Simons personally selected Gerber. Although she appeared in fourth place, the attention continued.

Her smile of approval melts even the most indifferent customer in the front row, nudging elbows at each other. Fashion moves fast, and the future star's most memorable moments flash past before most iphones capture them.

Somali-american model Halima Aden was the surprise "dark horse" of 2017. In the current political environment, it's more like setting a notable milestone, a bold statement by Max Mara.

Many people followed her figure with approving eyes until they disappeared at the end of the fashion runway, and some people were on the verge of spraining their necks while typing fast.

In May, when Dio started its own fashion camp in California, it set up not just a giant tent, but a new standard in the industry.

Artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri's first resort collection, featuring guests like Rihanna, Charlize Theron and Demi Moore, Visit the dusty Santa Monica mountains that were the setting for "Gone With the Wind" and "Little House on the Prairie."

Drawing inspiration from feminist shaman Vicki Noble and Clarissa Pinkola Estes, author of "Women Who Ran with Wolves," she held the show at Calabasas's Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Nature Preserve.

A hot air balloon with the words Dior Sauvage was lowered into the mountains to pay tribute to HOLLYWOOD's famous giant sign. The camp burned, drums rolled and Solange Knowles, the "Lady of the Sands," performed as people swigged vegetable juice and vodka.

In March, for this 100th show, Dries van Noten brought all of his past designs back to the stage, along with all the familiar faces who had walked for him - the models chosen for the show had all walked for him before.

The appearances of Missy Rayder, Hannelore Knuts, Alek Wek, Delfine Bafort and Tasha Tilberg all seemed to tug at our nostalgic heartstrings. They wore jeans, metallic jackets, men-style coats and multi-coloured shirt dresses and jumpers.

People raised their mobile phones to take pictures in a modern champagne salute. Catherine Deneuve also sat in the front row, and the brand's official Instagram account immediately passed the 500,000 followers mark after the show.

He's a Belgian in New York. He presented his women's debut show for Calvin Klein here, the first show for the brand to show both men and women. He is the genius behind the successful revivals of Jil Sander in Milan and Dior in Paris, and is a big name in the current "Team America" of fashion.

His audience includes A-list celebrities, from Millie Bobby Brown and Brooke Shields to Julianne Moore and Naomie Harris.

They sat among Sterling Ruby's artwork, watching a new definition of American style, with David Bowie's "This Is Not America" blaring (a reference not only to the event itself, but also to the broader state of America now that Trump has been sworn in).

Simons has breathed new life into the brand and seems more satisfying. At the end of the game, he raced to the stage and blew kisses to the audience with his longtime right-hand man, Pieter Mulier, the brand's new creative director.

Chanel's autumn/Winter 2017 collection was like Karl Lagerfeld meeting American astronomer and science writer Carl Sagan: the Grand Palais in Paris took space as its theme this time.

Lagerfeld takes viewers to infinity, returning to earth with silver pearly headbands and glittery boots as a favorite street photo look. But the most difficult to resist is the life-size Chanel rocket erected in the middle of the field.

At the end of the show, Lagerfeld and the mini mascot circled at the foot of the rocket as smoke bellowed and the engine roared. When the button was pressed, the countdown began, sparks flew, the song "Rocket Man" began, and we were indeed flying high.

Mario Testino, camera raised, was captivated by the scene, and Cara Delevingne couldn't have applauded faster. The rocket flew completely out of the fashion world that you and I live in.

The fashion fairy tale is woven: Gigi Hadid tiptoed through Anna Sui's show in her decadent outfit despite missing one shoe. Her younger sister Bella also "saves the beauty" by giving her sister a shoulder to lean on in a "Almost Famous" costume at the end of the show.

The spring/summer 2018 fashion show ended with strong sisterhood, the Beatles' "Lucy in the Diamond-covered Sky" and sustained applause. Bella can certainly understand her sister's pain: in September last year, she also fell on the Michael Kors fashion runway because of her unstable heels.

Even if dirt bikers did their spin tricks on the shimmering pink sand hilltops, when the Fenty X Puma Spring/Summer 2018 fashion show ended, Rihanna was the star of the show.

Most designers take low-key bows during the curtain call, but the singer and fashion designer chose to let her racing girl spirit out, waving to the crowd from the back of a motorcycle. Wearing sunglasses, a bun on her head and dazzling race-striped high-heeled boots, she was clearly enjoying herself.

The Queen blew kisses and stuck out her tongue playfully as she sailed past jubilant crowds. The motorcycle drove her off to continue her Instagram feed.
