Xiamen has always paid great attention to low-carbon and environmental protection, Xiamen is also one of the national "low-carbon pilot cities", and Xstep has been committed to ESG construction in recent years, 2023 has also been rated BBB level by MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International Company), which is the highest rating of domestic sporting goods brands. 2024 Xiama, XTEP will gather head sports resources to compete with international platinum and gold competitors in Xiama Arena. All the official equipment for the race uses environmentally friendly materials 100% recycled chemical fiber, which is an environmentally friendly material made from recycled plastic bottles. Compared with traditional chemical fiber clothing, 1kg of recycled chemical fiber can reduce carbon emissions by about 1.8kg. In 2024, all Xiamar race wear, commemorative wear, charity runners, Honor runners, Green runners and official pace runners will reduce carbon emissions by about 10 tons, helping Xiamen Marathon become the first marathon in the world to fully environmentally friendly clothing.
