All these processes were full of contradictions and hardships, but the Communist Party of China always spared no effort to fight for the interests of the people, and won the trust and support of the people.

Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, New China has not only achieved internal prosperity, but also actively promoted the establishment of a new type of international relations featuring mutual respect, fairness, justice and win-win cooperation. With its growing international influence, China has grown into an emerging power with a vision of harmony and inclusiveness.

The socialist road is complex and changeable. Over the years, with the support of the Chinese people, the CPC has not only accumulated valuable experience in party and state governance, but also made important contributions to the spread and development of Marxism.

In particular, the theoretical achievements and practical experience of the Sinicization of Marxism concentrate on the historical contribution of the Communist Party of China.

In your opinion, what experiences have the Communist Party of China (CPC) gained in promoting the sinicization, modernization and popularization of Marxism over the past 100 years?

Alvarez: Combining the universal principles of Marxism with China's specific realities is the basic way to realize the Sinicization of Marxism. In this great historical process,

very important theoretical achievements have been produced. Although China's social reality and social needs are different at different times, the establishment of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the goal throughout.

As Communist Party leaders have said, at the beginning of reform and opening up, China did not have an established theory and model to refer to. The 13th CPC National Congress systematically elaborated the theory of the primary stage of socialism and the Party's basic line in the primary stage of socialism.

The Communist Party of China stresses that China is and will remain in the primary stage of socialism for a long time to come, and can neither deviate from the direction of socialism nor go beyond this primary stage.

The basic line of the primary stage of socialism is "one center and two basic points." The Communist Party of China believes that to focus on economic construction and adhere to reform and opening up, in addition to self-reliance, we should actively learn and make use of advanced foreign science and technology and management experience.

Reform and opening up is the centennial plan of the Communist Party of China facing the future. In the 1980s, the Communist Party of China put forward a three-step strategy for socialist modernization. The first step was to double the GNP of 1980 by 1990 and solve the problem of food and clothing for the people,

which was basically achieved by the end of the 1980s. The second step is to double the GNP by the end of the 20th century and bring the people to a well-off standard of living.

This step has also been achieved. The third step is to basically achieve modernization by the middle of the 21st century, with per capita GNP reaching the level of moderately developed countries and people living a relatively prosperous life.

Respecting history and building on past achievements while advancing with The Times is an important experience for the CPC to adhere to the right direction of development over the past century. Only by holding firm to our ideals,

beliefs and ideological line, and adhering to the correct ideological and political line, can we fundamentally ensure that the Party's leadership position remains unshaken and that socialism with Chinese characteristics remains unchanged.

In your opinion, what opportunities and challenges do the CPC and the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics face in the new era?

Alvarez: Since the reform and opening up, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Chinese society has undergone profound changes. As the promoter and executor of the reform, the Communist Party of China is working hard to rule at the same time, but also bears huge risks and tests.

At present, the CPC's ability to govern the party and state and its influence at home and abroad are huge. Specifically, within the framework of "socialism with Chinese characteristics," the main goals focus on the development of productive forces and the improvement of China's political system.

In my opinion, this theory has some unique features in party building. The move will further consolidate the CPC's role as the leadership core in the new development stage. The theme education of "do not forget the original heart,

remember the mission" highlights the innovation of the Communist Party of China's management of the Party, and the proposal of this slogan can be said to hold the pulse of the management of the Party and the Party.

To seek happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation is the original aspiration and mission of the Chinese Communists, and the majority of party members and officials remain true to their original aspiration, keep their mission firmly in mind, and implement the "Chinese Dream" with concrete actions.
