A difficult ceasefire

In 1948, Hungarian psychologist Nagy conducted psychological experiments on 378 children aged 3 to 10 after World War II. She only asked one question: "What is death?" It turned out that children under the age of 5 were completely unable to understand the concept of "death" and believed it was just "going to sleep.". Now, this scene seems to be replaying in another way.

This girl's name is Fra Laham, and she is 4 years old this year. When she woke up from a hospital in Gaza, she appeared unusually calm. Raham did not know that, except for himself and his grandmother, the other 14 members of the family had all died in the Israeli airstrikes.

In the midst of war, life is always exceptionally fragile. This week, the Israeli Palestinian conflict, which has lasted for over 40 days, has finally reached a temporary ceasefire agreement, which is a temporary relief. But behind the difficult ceasefire, there are still variables.

November 24th is the "Black Friday" in the West, also known as the carnival of "Big Procurement Day". But this year, the global focus has been on the Middle East.

That evening, a helicopter taking off from Hartzelim Air Force Base in Israel landed at Schneider Children's Medical Center in Petatikwa City. There are some personnel released by Hamas on board.

According to the agreement, Hamas first handed over the detained personnel to the Red Cross, and then with the cooperation of Egypt, the Red Cross passed through the Rafah border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt and handed them over to the Israeli Defense Forces.

According to the Associated Press, according to the ceasefire agreement, Hamas has released the first batch of 13 Israelis, including 4 children. The 10 detained Thai and 1 Filipino who were not included in the ceasefire agreement were also released at the same time.

As part of the ceasefire agreement, Israel has released 39 Palestinian prisoners, including 24 women and 15 children, who have been detained.

On November 24th, Palestinian detainees who were detained by Israel arrived at the Betunia checkpoint by bus from the Ov prison.

CCTV reporter Zhao Bing: I am currently in the West Bank area of the Jordan River in Palestine, and the location not far behind me is the Over Military Prison in Israel. So after being released by the Israeli army, these Palestinians were also transported to the Palestinian side through the International Committee of the Red Cross, and directly entered the Palestinian controlled town of Bethunia through an Israeli military checkpoint not far behind me, where they were separately taken away by their families.

The released Palestinian personnel were warmly welcomed after entering the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Les Osman: I can't express my feelings now, thank Allah. The situation in prison is very difficult, and I cannot truly articulate how difficult it is.

On November 22, Hamas spokesperson Mazuk emphasized in an interview with Al Jazeera Qatar in Doha, "When we announced a ceasefire agreement, our fingers were still on the trigger."

According to reports, Hamas senior leader Hania, born in Gaza, is currently in Qatar. Earlier this month, Hania made a surprise visit to an important supporter, Iran, which was seen as a signal of readiness for negotiations.
