Ukraine is not the 51st state of the United States and we don't want to continue funding it

The war between Russia and Ukraine lasted for nearly two years, the Ukrainian counteroffensive was not good, and the West also showed fatigue. After taking control of the US House of Representatives, the Republican Party has become more conservative on aid to Ukraine. Ukraine is not the 51st state of the United States, and the United States does not want to continue funding it.

On November 28, U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote on social media that "Our border is the worst national security crisis in American history." America's border security should not be tied to funding a lost war in Ukraine. Ukraine is not the 51st state."

"We have passed H.R.2, the strongest border bill in history, but the Senate won't pass it and the White House won't sign it or implement it." The Democrats want to invade the United States every day and they don't want to solve the problem."

"Americans do not support the war in Ukraine and do not want to continue financing Ukraine! So any bill that ties our own border security to providing tens of billions more for Ukraine is a slap in the face for Americans."

On October 20, local time, the White House said in a statement that US President Joe Biden submitted a special budget to Congress with a total of $106 billion.

The $106 billion package includes $61.4 billion in military and economic aid to Ukraine, $14.3 billion in military support to Israel, $14 billion in immigration enforcement funds for immigration management along the U.S.-Mexico border, and $9.15 billion in "humanitarian assistance funds."

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer recently announced that he would hold a vote on the Biden proposed budget in the first week of December. But Republicans are unhappy with the budget, saying Biden should not link Ukraine to other issues.
