UCLA Chinese female graduate student finally contacted the reason for the disappearance turns out to be

Alison Wu, a Chinese female student at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Institute of Public Health, and her boyfriend Scott Helton were not heard from for more than 20 days, and finally had good news on May 2. Cu police contacted Alison Wu on the 1st and she is well.

Alison Wu's mother, Renay Wu, reported her daughter missing to Los Angeles police on Tuesday. Wu said her daughter had traveled to San Francisco for a week with her boyfriend, Scott Helton, and was reported missing after returning to Los Angeles.

Alison Wu's roommate said she and her boyfriend were last seen on the evening of October 10. After Wu left without notice, the roommate found their cell phone and car keys in her room, and their car was still in the apartment parking lot.

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, who is friends with Wu, has appealed for help in finding Wu on Facebook, and asked anyone with information about Wu's or her boyfriend's whereabouts to contact police as soon as possible. Before Wu disappeared, she told her mother she was helping two homeless people and felt like an "angel on earth."
