This fall and winter through the ceiling

When seeing the looks of some people, people can't help but lament the injustice of fate.

Danish blogger and model twin sisters Amalie and Cecilie Moosgaard, for example, are tall, well-built, bright-eyed, delicate, elvish and otherworldly.

In the race of human genetics, they've managed to win in every dimension.

Not only that, but they also have nice clothes. Opening their IG accounts is like opening a textbook of autumn and winter clothing.

Thigh-length silhouette coats, base-colored turtlenecks, well-cut jeans, and black ankle-high boots -- the basics everyone has in their closet -- make the sisters chic all fall and winter.

Such good taste is inseparable from their seven years of modeling experience.

At the age of 13, Amalie and Cecilie were discovered while shopping in Aarhus, Denmark, and the sisters were signed to a modeling agency.

In 2015, at the age of 16, Amalie and Cecilie walked the runway of the Prada Spring/Summer 2016 collection, becoming the exclusive Prada models for this season's Milan Fashion Week.

That's a high starting point for a model. Amalie and Cecilie soon caught the attention of the fashion world and became known as "the Prada twins."

After Milan, they also started to make their mark at Paris Fashion Week the same season, walking on several shows including Sonia Rykiel, Sacai, Valentino and Miu Miu.

A closer look at what Amalie and Cecilie wear reveals that their wardrobes, like most models, are dominated by basics. Blue jeans, white shirts, white T-shirts and suits of various colors are the protagonists of everyday wear.

So, how on earth do they manage to wear the basics so well?

Cecilie shared her secret, saying: 'Take the time to find the right item and take the time to find the one that suits you best.' She told us that they both have their own secret shopping spots and favorite brands, "When we find the perfect pair of jeans, we wear them until they're worn out." Then we would send them to Grandma, who would sew them for us, and we would wear them again until they were worn out again."

Today, the sisters are not just models, they are bloggers with hundreds of thousands of followers on social media. Despite being influential influencers on the Internet, they are very careful in choosing the products they promote,

Cecilie said: "We are lucky that we always receive a lot of clothes, a lot of products. But we reject 95 per cent of the products we receive and only say Yes to brands we like and would wear ourselves."

"But we also know we're not perfect," Amalie candidly admits, "it's still the fashion industry, we're models, and we certainly can't say it's all sustainable because we sometimes work for fast-fashion brands as well." So we have to be honest about that as well, but we're going to keep learning because we can do better and we will do better."

This year, Amalie and Cecilie, both 22, found themselves as founders of a jewelry brand. Lie Studio, the jewelry and accessories brand they created together, launched two months ago.

The creation of the brand has a romantic story, in fact, the brand is a love letter for the sisters to their family.Amalie and Cecilie's grandfather gave them a piece of jewelry that had belonged to their great-grandmother when they were six years old, which was the first time the sisters realized the emotional value of jewelry, and the brand was born.

The brand name comes from the same three letters after the sisters' names, and a number of Lie Studio products are also named after the sisters' families. In an interview with Scandinavian VOGUE ahead of the launch, the twins said that the process of starting the brand for them was really a process of finding an accessory that really suited them and their wardrobe.

Sister Amalie said, "If we didn't want to wear it ourselves, we wouldn't make it; But if we like it ourselves, we'll make it. It's a very narcissistic act, which is strange, but we have to be honest with ourselves."

"When I see the jewelry, I think of them (the family). We build products that work for them, or products that we know they will like. I can just imagine them wearing it," Sister Cecilie adds that their accessories will be the finishing touch of the look, but are also classic and timeless, making you want to wear it day after day, year after year. "We just want to make it simple, so that you can simply put on a piece of jewelry and then the whole look becomes more interesting."

Now in their seventh year in the fashion industry, the sisters describe themselves as "veterans" of the industry.

Cecilie explained: "We have always wanted to create something, we have been in the fashion industry for seven years and we have always been part of the vision of other designers. So now it's a good thing to be able to create our own vision."

As models, the two talked about how they were often treated as "products," but now they finally have the opportunity to create products.

After seven years of modeling, the sisters were always surrounded by clothes, cosmetics and accessories, and they could have chosen other categories to start their business, but in the end they chose jewelry.

"I think we've always neglected that accessories are part of the look," says Cecilie. "We've never been people who wear jewelry a lot, so the brand came from a desire to find something that works for us."

Amalie adds, "We designed jewelry for people who don't wear it often, and we want them to be part of your everyday look, part of your everyday process of getting ready to go out." When you put on your perfume in the morning, you put it on at the same time."Amalie and Cecilie have incorporated their "buy less, buy more" fashion philosophy into their brands.

They want Lie Studio's designs to be seasonless: "Just as we wear the same jeans and sweater until it wears out, we want to create a collection so delicate and small that people can wear it forever."

With taste, brains, ideas, and social responsibility, the Moosgaard sisters' tomorrow is worth looking forward to.
