Yin Xiyue nearly two years of elaborate campaign, and so on is a fiasco, the Korean glass heart is broken

It is well known that South Korea, from top to bottom, has a strong desire to improve its international standing because of its history and current situation. To this end, as early as nearly two years ago, South Korean President Yoon Seok-yuet carefully campaigned for Busan to apply for the host city of the 2030 World Expo, but it was extremely cruel reality, and South Korea failed miserably.

There are three contenders for the title: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Rome, Italy; and Busan, South Korea. In the end, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, took the top spot with 119 votes, winning the contest in only one round, while South Korea, with high self-confidence, only got 29 votes, was ruthlessly crushed. Later, Yin Xiyue publicly apologized, saying that the failure was entirely caused by his shortcomings. There is no doubt that South Korea has once again become an international joke.

One might wonder why Korea has become an international joke when Italy has been crushed. Just look at how South Koreans behave before they go to the polls.

For example, the day before the vote, Yin Xiyue shouted in front of a large number of media, "Toward victory, the final sprint."

For example, South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo led the Busan bid delegation on a huge publicity campaign. Even Koreans in Paris have rented venues and are ready to celebrate.

Anyway, the Koreans are full of confidence, and there is a feeling that Busan is certain to win. Italy, on the other hand, is lying down early, purely with a focus on the mentality of participation, and the main energy is still on the bid for the next session.

The final result, as I said before, is 119 to 29 to 17.

Subsequently, the South Korean media issued a sour document saying that this time Saudi Arabia can win relying on "oil money", which eventually led to South Korea's "narrow defeat". There was a full 90 votes difference between the two cities, and the Korean media actually used the word "narrowly defeated". There is no doubt that the glass heart of the Korean people was broken again.
