Professor Li Jikai, dean of the Institute for Advanced Research in Humanities and Social Sciences of Shaanxi Normal University, proposed that Silk Road literature should be a cross-time, cross-nationality,

cross-language and cross-culture literature, and modern Silk Road literature should also be the continuation and development of ancient Silk Road literature. In the context of creating the great cause of "The Belt and Road" and the Silk Road culture,

the topics of "Silk Road studies" and its discipline construction, "Silk Road literature" and its "Land silk literature" and "Sea silk literature" can be said to be timely, worthy of in-depth study, and make practical contributions to the continuous promotion of Silk Road studies.

Professor Xu Peiyuan, dean of the Maritime Silk Road Research Institute of Huaqiao University, believes that the new coronavirus epidemic has intensified the investment risks of the "Belt and Road", and one of the current focuses of work is to improve the investment mechanism and control risks, and the benefit binding mechanism is worthy of in-depth study in reality.

Professor Ma Lirong, director of the Silk Road Strategy Institute of Shanghai International Studies University, pointed out that the construction of the Silk Road academic community from the perspective of the humanistic community has profound internal and external factors,

and is also a realistic move to build the academic discourse system of the "Belt and Road", which will be a breakthrough for the "Belt and Road" to achieve a stable and long-term development and a new mission for domestic Silk Road scholars.

In fact, the establishment of the Silk Road Academic Community has a profound foundation for cooperation and academic origin. Professor Ma Lirong talked about the Silk Road academic exchanges and cooperation between China and the United Nations,

including the "Road of Dialogue" conducted on the UNESCO platform: The Silk Road Holistic Research Project, the establishment of UNESCO's Silk Road online platform, the joint application of land Silk Road and Maritime Silk Road heritage sites,

the promotion of cross-border Silk Road tourism, leading the construction of a Silk Road cultural, cultural, artistic, film and film community, and the encouragement of cross-border archaeological cooperation among countries along the Silk Road;

In addition, China's Dunhuang studies explore the network dissemination of "digital Dunhuang", enabling Chinese and foreign scholars to accelerate the process of international cooperation in the sharing of network resources, and providing successful experience for the construction of "Silk Road academic community".

The six sub-forums discussed topics such as "Research on the history of Maritime culture", "Research on Silk Road Culture", "Research on Silk Road Literature", "Research on Silk Road History", "Research on Silk Road Heritage", and "Research on the Belt and Road".

The first sub-forum was entitled "Research on Maritime Literature and History" and was moderated by Shan Li, Deputy Director of Research Department and deputy research librarian of China Maritime Museum.

Sun Guangqi, professor of Dalian Maritime University, discusses the status of the ancient maritime Silk Road in the Eastern and Western civilization from a historical perspective. Then, Liu Yijie, distinguished Professor of Fujian Normal University,

Chen Xiaoshan, Researcher of the Institute of Natural Science History of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hu Wuding, Associate researcher of the Institute of History of the Heilongjiang Academy of Social Sciences, Fan Hongtao, Lecturer of the School of Foreign Languages of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics,

and He Guofan, Doctor of the Historical Geography Research Center of Fudan University, respectively, discussed the status of ancient sea silk in Eastern and Western civilizations, ancient Chinese and Arab nautical books,

and the Eastern Tang Dynasty Presentations on North Asian pinnipeds cognition, Mitsurui Otani's "Silk Road Expedition" and the "Zhili Shandong Nautical Chart" in the Harvard Library.

The second sub-forum was entitled "Research on Silk Road Cultural Relics" and was moderated by Gu Yuhui, Deputy research librarian of China Maritime Museum. Lu Jing, Professor, Department of Cultural Relics and Museums,

Fudan University; Liu Hua, Associate Research Librarian, Shanghai Museum of History; Ren Zhihong, Associate Research Librarian, China Maritime Museum; Zhang Ling, Assistant librarian, Shanghai Museum;

Meng Ling, Deputy Director and Associate Research Librarian, Huludao Museum; Rong Liang, Deputy Director, Chen Exhibition Department, China Maritime Museum; Yang Tianyuan, Shanghai Cultural Relics Protection and Research Center;

Assistant Librarian, China Maritime Museum Jiang Xiaohan and Dr. Han Xuefei from the Department of History of Sun Yat-sen University respectively discussed the thirteen export porcelain lines of Britain and Tibet, the 1937 overseas saving remittance,

commercial whaling in the 19th century, Islamic glass in Buddha statues, the story of shipwrecks and "sea silk", the paradigm thinking and planning and implementation of sea silk exhibitions,

the external factors in China's trade porcelain in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the "South China Sea No. 1" water currency and the Song Dynasty maritime silk The road to money circulation and the pepper trade in the Roman Empire in the 1st to 7th centuries AD are discussed as arguments.

The third sub-forum was entitled "Research on Silk Road Literature" and was moderated by Yu Man, Director of the Department of Western Languages, Shanghai International Studies University.
