I'm already looking forward to spring

New York is so busy these days. Not only are we back with the Met Gala, but New York Fashion Week is finally back.

And so, once again, we see the most fashionable women in the world gathering in New York.Over the past 18 months, so many brands have moved their fashion shows online that it's been a long time since we've seen a traditional fashion show.

That trend is finally changing this season. Joseph Altuzarra, Gabriela Hearst, Proenza Schouler, Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Thom Browne, Tom Ford, some of the most beloved American designers, Both moved their latest season collections to various corners of New York last week.

And this long-lost physical fashion week, let us see the designers more enthusiastic, bolder, but also more interesting side.Neon colors on the runways of New York Fashion Week took us back to the glitzy '90s.

This was most evident in Tom Ford's show.

Tom Ford's theme for this season is "Let the Sunshine In", so we see the whole collection with contrasting neon colors, colorful sequins and velvet satin, full of rich and retro style, reminiscent of the time.

"I think it's a hopeful series, at a time when we all need hope. We need it now more than ever." As Tom Ford said, the spring of 2022, which has not yet arrived, may be as promising for us as the millennium that was about to arrive 20 years ago.

Designer Christian Cowan and Tom Ford had the same idea, and he created a New York nightlife in the post-pandemic era -- chic women in sparkling sequins, feathers, rhinestones and tight dresses flocked to the same party, all shapes and shapes, But they all have the glamour of the '90s.

Like Tom Ford, Thom Browne also used a lot of neon colors in his spring/Summer 2022 collection.

In addition to Thom Browne's most famous suit designs, this season, he created 20 "sculptures" in 20 bold colors, dresses with patterns that were not directly drawn, but were laid out by dozens of layers of tulle, laid in layering strokes.

The spring of 2022 is destined to be a season of self-expression.

Tom Ford and Christian Cowan aren't the only ones bringing the Y2K aesthetic to spring/Summer 2022.The classic midriff look, pioneered by pop queens such as Destiny's Child and Britney Spears in the early 2000s, was reprised on a number of shows this season.

The combination of the short halter top and the ultra-low waist reminds us of a Time when "Baby One More Time" was being sung on the streets. After a few years of popularity, the trend of undergarments is heating up again this year.

But in this season's show, we got more fresh wear inspiration, the bold way is to wear a bikini alone, with the same color half skirt; Stylish girls who have a stronger control over color can also try to match neon colors like this one on the Tom Ford show.

If you're in an environment where you don't wear a bikini on a regular basis, you can pair it with a suit jacket of the same color, buttoned up for commuting, and buttoned up for partying after work."Flowers" is the eternal theme of spring and summer, but this season, designers have taken the classic element of "flowers" and played with new ideas.

For example, Thom Browne, an ever-creative artist, has created two stunning flower-shaped capes using thousands of handmade silk flowers in varying shades of gray.

Thom Browne's Spring/Summer 2022 show was built into a beautiful garden where flowers blossomed not only on the clothes, but also on the faces and heads of the models.Chinese designer Jason Wu also installed the show as a gorgeous garden, but he chose a different way to make the flowers appear on the clothes.

Working with fabric artist Cara Marie Piazza this season, Jason Wu uses natural dyes to print and dye the fabric, meaning that real flowers are placed on the fabric and then rolled up with fabric binding technology, which leaves an imprint on the fabric, resulting in a blurry beauty.

Each dress is like an impressionist painting. It is worth mentioning that the flowers used in the show installation will be donated to the Pratt Institute after the show, where Jason Wu will run a Workshop to teach students about natural dyeing techniques.

Even in the spring and summer, everyone's enthusiasm for knitwear has not decreased, and knitted items can be seen everywhere on the show this season, mostly in thinner and more close-fitting designs.

On a rainy spring afternoon, or a cool summer morning, a comfortable and stylish sweater can be our best friend. Not only is knitwear getting thinner and thinner, but this season's New York Fashion Week saw a lot of see-through designs, and sexy and gentle female power became the theme of many brands.

A bigger feature of this season's dresses is that the cuts are also getting bolder, more interesting and creative, with fewer fabrics but more layers of drawstrings and lace-ups.I believe that many people, like me, will pay more attention to the bags and accessories in each season's fashion week than the fashion.

The bag that first caught my attention this year is Peter Do. It is so huge that you can hardly ignore its existence in the show. Kendall has taken the lead to wear it during this fashion week.

If you don't like the mature style, more love the playful and cute children's fun style, you may wish to move your eyes to the Moschino show. Sheep, baby bottles, gift boxes... Take the child in your hand and put it in cute.

In the bag design, the biggest surprise to us is Tory Burch, rigid leather bag, in the design not only emphasizes the "elegant" and "practical" parallel, will become one of the most cost-effective bags in the next season.

Ok, this season's New York Fashion Week is over, next London, Milan, Paris, which fashion week you are most looking forward to?
